Volunteerism is a core part of SoCal League culture. As an adult supporter, the more you embrace the “biking is life” mentality, the more your young athlete will benefit from this experience. As a community, we support youth cyclists by being present and involved in every aspect of our sport. Positive adult involvement in youth sports impacts youth well beyond physical success. It helps athletes to thrive at emotional, behavioral, and educational levels. Volunteers push this sport forward with a devotion to keep mountain biking flourishing. By means of our actions, we instill in our athletes a sense of pride in their community and sport. This in turn leads to well-rounded bikers who pay forward the lessons they have learned to new cyclists.
