2027 CATEGORY PLACEMENTS ARE LIVE!
Category placements are only for returning middle and high school riders. There are two types of placements: Mandatory and Permissive.
Mandatory Placement means a rider is placed in a specific category.
Permissive Placement means a rider may elect to upgrade to a specific category.
All riders have the option to petition for category upgrades or downgrades. Permissively placed riders are placed in their mandatory category but are automatically approved when petitioning into their permissive category.
Returning riders can find their placement using the tool below. For all category placement-related questions, refer to the documents linked below or review the 2027 RULEBOOK. To file a category petition, please complete the form below. NOTE: Category Petitions may only be filed by coaches or by the parents of independent riders. A category petition does not guarantee placement. Your petition will be reviewed by the SoCal League rules committee. Determinations are emailed when a ruling is reached.
